Program's Overview

The Department of Public Administration and Good Governance is dedicated to fostering a comprehensive understanding of public sector management and governance. Our mission is to prepare students to become effective public administrators and leaders who can contribute to the development and implementation of policies that promote transparency, accountability, and good governance. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, we aim to equip students with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of public administration in diverse and dynamic environments.

A prospective student wishing to enroll in the first year of the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Public Administration and Good Governance must have successfully completed secondary school with at least two principal passes. Since Administration and Good Governance is a cross-cutting domain, students from various educational backgrounds can pursue this program, provided they are committed. However, it is beneficial if secondary school studies included subjects such as Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Economic Sciences, Secretarial Studies, or other related fields.
