The Master of Science in Food Science and Technology at INES-Ruhengeri provides advanced education and research opportunities designed to equip students with the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the bio-industries sector. To be admitted to this program, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a nationally or internationally recognized university in one of the following fields, with a minimum grade of 13/20 or its equivalent:
Candidates should have at least a Second-Class Upper Division in their field of study. Applicants with a Lower Division degree who have at least 3 years of experience in the food industry (e.g., Brewery, Vintage, Dairy, Meat, Vegetables and Fruits, Legumes, and related food sectors) will also be considered. Applicants with qualifications from institutions outside Rwanda that have been approved by the relevant Rwandan body may also be admitted.
