Eng. NSANZIMFURA Théoneste holds a Master’s degree of Science in Water and Environmental Engineering (option: Civil Engineering & Hydraulics) from the Institut International d'Ingénierie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement (2iE), Burkina Faso. He is currently a lecturer and researcher in the civil and water engineering department at INES-Ruhengeri, teaching undergraduate modules related to his qualifications.

He is also an independent civil engineering & hydraulics consultant and a member of different recognized Institutes such as the Institute of Engineers Rwanda (IER) and the Rwanda Association of Professional Environment Practitioners (RAPEP).

He has a publication record in journals with a moderate impact factor and supervises undergraduate students’ research projects. His current research interests are mainly in civil engineering & hydraulics.
